Last Post

1)What I did breakdown:

Interstitials
Wrote script - 12.5%
Props - 75%
Setting up lights- 20%
On set Production Photos - 75%
Post effects work - 50%
Commercial Effects – 90%
Hamster Handling – 100%

Screening
Help set up exhibition - 10%
Help screening set up and breakdown – 10%
Print Labels for DVDs – 100%

Exhibition
Unload electronics to and from exhibition space - 10%
Man the exhibition - 5%
Manage prints and print out works for display - 50%
Budget Printing - 100%
Print Title Cards – 100%
Web
Design web templates – 33%
2)What went well:
  1. Filming and Preproduction
  2. Setting up Exhibition space
  3. Interstitials finished on time
3)What could have been better:
  1. More people could have been working in other areas during the semester so they had stuff to work on (Teams didn't seem to be balanced in terms of workload even after the semester was over) The majority of the first 3/4ths of the semester was checking up on interstitial and publicity teams because other groups didn't really have much to do or report
  2. The Interstitial script could have been less confusing and more along the lines of a CLUE story
  3. The characters that the publicity team put together could have matched the actors better.

First night of Screening

It was an amazing turnout tonight for both the exhibition and the screening.  We were all very excited to see all the people and how interested they were in everything there was to see.  We were also all very happy after the show to see ourselves how great everything turned out!

VIZA-GO-GO 19!

Vizagogo has started and I have helped a lot with setting things up for the exhibition and I will be helping set up the screening tomorrow.  Since I am only able to be on duty for the exhibition on Thursday night, I have tried to be helping out in every other way I can.  This has led to being downtown very often.

Interstitials Complete!

This week we finished the interstitials! Jared and I have been up in the editing room late every day to make sure all the effects are working well.  There were a few adjustments that need to be made but nothing major. Color correction was complete and we rendered it out which took 6 hours! Luckily nothing broke on the render so it only took one try with a tiny few fixes after.

Done with Post Work

All high and medium priority effects shots have been completed and handed off to Jared.  There were some render issues as well as some effects that Jared would like to be tweaked.  I’m fixing those issues tonight and will hand them off tomorrow.

Exhibition Jurying

From 3:00 to 5:30 pm, I participated in the jurying process for exhibition.  There over 100 items to be juried.  I also signed up hours to work for Vizagogo in the exhibition, I'm doing a 2 hour shift Thursday from 5pm - 7pm.
